Hiking in the fall

I bought a bright orange hiking cap yesterday. Honestly, I think I look cute a and really like the bright orange color. Always hiked solo in the ADK hiking. I can see the benefits of orange during hunting season . Who’s hiking solo as a women? Do you get a gun pistol permit? What and whom are you gonna shot? A bEAR? COYOYE? I have been hiking in these woods for over 25 years…what to do
